Christian Mannino

Christian received a B.E. in mechanical engineering from The Cooper Union, summa cum laude. After graduation from The Cooper Union, Christian studied as a Fulbright Scholar in Montreal and received a Master of Manufacturing Management from McGill University. After graduation from McGill, Christian began his engineering career at United Technologies Corporation (UTC). While working full time as an engineer at UTC, Christian attended the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he earned his J.D.

While at UTC, Christian worked on lean manufacturing process redesign for commercial engine assembly at Pratt and Whitney. Later, Christian joined the UTC Power division where he worked as a senior engineer on the development testing and performance analysis of PEM fuel cell systems for stationary and automotive applications.

After leaving engineering, Christian began his legal career with Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto, working both in the New York and California offices. While at Fitzpatrick, Christian gained experience drafting and prosecuting utility and design patent applications in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, preparing patentability and infringement opinions, assisting in transactional due diligence matters, and counseling clients on a range of patent procurement and enforcement issues.

Since joining Gordon & Jacobson, Christian has continued to provide patent drafting and prosecution services to clients in diverse fields and has gained experience in patent post grant review proceedings.

Christian has experience in technology related to diverse and complex fields, such as fire sprinkler devices, internal combustion engine components, consumer product packaging, medical devices, telecommunications equipment, computer printers, scanners, and fax machines.
